Say hullo to the De Luxe Theatre for me. There is a proposal to reconstruct and install a 1915 Wurlitzer Photoplayer in the auditorium next year.

Hard News: Merry Christmas, you all, in reply to
I've warmed to it a little but still wish they could have tried something different this summer. The bad music shtick has grown a little tiresome.

That would be excellent--but I don't want to presume, if you were thinking of organising another Auckland event,

I can do that. Calling on your extensive experience, what is the best way of sending around a message?

Happy with that weekend, which would be Feb 2-3 (if that isn't a summer too far)

Our House: I suggested some time back that Josephine and I are happy to host a PA summer soirée in Hamilton East. It would entail a trip south but I can ensure that the streets are cleansed of bogans and boy racers beforehand.
We have a large deck, larger back garden, a vista of greenery, and eating implements,
It would need to fit around my daughter's return from Japan (Jan 13), Elvis Costello (Jan19) and TropFest (Anniversary weekend) but any other day is fine as I am on annual level, which then transforms into sabbatical (until July!)Responses and suggestions gratefully received
