In my opinion we should leave the detail alone, we should leave her what privacy she has, and the self respect and self confidence she has rebuilt since she was attacked.
Too late Anita.I would have been quite happy 41 pages back but it got to the point where I jumped in (somewhere about pg 26) because it started to get my attention when the story grew. But with all due respect for Kristin, I have tried not to second guess her. Also this story originally suggested that "the rumour" had been circulating for the previous year, so in our little country, there is no privacy. But having said that, I don't think of Kristin as humiliated, unconfident, lacking respect . I would (and do) like to think of her as strong, determined, and capable of deciding what was best for her, and ,having been employed by TVNZ, has a bloody good idea of the shit that was gonna hit the fan when it came out. She is definitely strong and good on her.

I'm not sure if it is still true but wasn't adultery grounds for murder (justifyable homicide) in france up until recently.
, Thought it does still get used as a defence, and there are the honour killings throughout India as well. I think I'd rather anyone talk about me tits thanks:)

I wonder if there's a bit of "let's see how far we can push it before he denies it"? At this stage I can't imagine him suing.
I seem to remember (Robbery ,you may need to correct me;-) that the 'lion man' celebrity that Bridget Saunders talks about (back 10 or so pages) denied, went to court, denied, fined $8000, keeps job. So anything is possible really.
I know this may sound crass but he seems to be the ultimate pin up boy for "See what happens if you cover up violence toward others" and if anything bringing this to light may give Womens Refuge the boost it needs. -

Ian,,I have always considered that All humans are equal. What I see more and more is the demise of the human species from the likes of those who want to be in control. It is all very well of you to try to analyse the who ,what why, of an appalling situation like this .Unbeknown to me is your reason, of which I have no problem but please, without judgement, can you not understand (or even learn from) those around here with experience. There is emotion here with empathy and because of experience, there is also anger. So from me IT IS NOT OK and because it is common behaviour on this planet, please support whatever we can do to educate those who don't know.
I am off now,I don't have time to continue as I don't work on my computer, Sorry no time to discuss any more so you have yourself a day and whatever -
Another thing - how do lawyers for both sides allow people to cover up grievous bodily harm?
because it's lots of money for all.

Care to back that one up?

And now I am reminded of all the other ladies today because the AB's didn't win. Also Robbery, I never forget about them. In the words of Neil Young. Nobody wins, it's the war of man.
