OTOH, am I the only person who thinks Mallard would be wise to step a little carefully himself.
He's already got Rick Ellis if he needs a patsy. He should be right on it, if only for brownie points.

There's a public broadcasting theme in Media7 this week too. We'll be discussing National's new Charter-free broadcasting policy with its broadcasting spokesman Jonathan Coleman,
Watched this last night,(really do enjoy the show :) What did Jonathan Coleman mean when he said "nobody wants to buy it" Is (should Nat get in) that insinuating that TVNZ will be sold once their policies are implemented?

Favourite linguistic bugbear: People (mis)using the phrase "hoist by his/her/thier own petard" in such a way that it's clear they have no idea what a petard is, or what it means to be hoist by one.
I always thought it meant, you make your bed , you lie in it at your own cost. Am I one of the "clear they have no idea" department, and if so, can you explain?

Duh.
My ultimate goal is one that says 'if you can read this you're too close', in Braille.
Still laughing.:)

In tee slogans, I quite like "I wish these were brains".
I like 'if you can read this, you're staring at my tits'.
heh, In creating a t shirt,I put a MRI image of my brain (after surgery) on my tits and followed it with ....and that happened! on the back.

I think this is a great forum with brilliant contributors but it's also very intimidating for people who want to air their views and question what's going on in NZ without getting their heads bitten off because they might not be on the same wave length as the majority.
Cecelia, it's just your computer. You can always ignore bits if you like:-) Helps to have a thick skin though,eh? The world is your oyster!
