Ben Wilson <quote>When you see people in their context, it's hard to hate them. When they are your family, who gave you life and raised you, it's doubly hard. When they are your children, it's just plain stupid.<quote/quote>

I dunno...
Tauranga stadium (IMO) is rubbish.
also in Winter/Spring it is not ideal beach weather and there is NOTHING else to do in Tauranga -

wrong kind
not wrong, just different!
I love all three 'versions' of cricket - all appeal for different reasons (as you outlined).
Maybe as you get to know the personalities and get to understand more about the game through watching T20 you will start to enjoy Test matches and ODI too :-) -
I know our school could definitely use some spending to bring it into the new millenium
carpet, curtains, furniture in classroom (very old, worn and stained - or in the case of curtains, sometimes non-existent - not so good for projecting...cannot see projection in bright sunny classrooms!)
technology - mounted projectors, smartboards - not in the schools current budget :-(
resources - my dept in particular is really suffering here but has no money to replace/update in anywhere near the levels we should be. This was even commented on by ERO but our dept budget this year is same as last years.... -

And Max (whoever you are) if I want to post stuff on Kiwiblog then I will do it myself - kindly stop feeding what I post here to our rude and rather dim troll.
Apologies Sacha if I have broken some unwritten blog etiquette and/or annoyed you.
I was genuinely interested in his response. Explanation of why...I was annoyed earlier in the post when David 'Thoughtspur' had commented a few times with his assertions against what Russell and others had written here. He commented then never came back to reply to other commenters challenges and questions.
Then along came Chuck and it seemed to be going the same way. The positive side of 'goading' him to come back and answer peoples questions about what he/she had posted was that Chuck had to properly (as far as it goes) explain his/her position and source. This led the way for the excellent rebuttal from 81st Column. When the conversation is one sided (as it largely was until this) it is harder for someone like me to process the ideas put forward. -
being a wife is being one half of the partnership of marriage.
This partnership is to be defined by the partners.
In my marriage we are best friends, make joint decisions regarding our family, finances, future etc, parent together and probably other stuff too which doesn't come to mind immediately.
Not sure if this is a job tho'. -
Thanks for those links George
It would be interesting to see if Russells post was re-written as a Letter to the Editor if it would get published?
