We have a very popular Saturday night market in downtown Hamilton, with some pretty yummy food--not French but certainly cheaper. -
Well, the big old plum tree, which appeared to be in terminal decline, has thwarted my expectations of firewood for next winter and has put out blossom. It will only be a temporary reprieve if the fruit do not match the promise.

There is that inhibiting, much too prevalent social nicety of "If you can't say nothing nice, don't say anything". I have always thought it was a nonsense but it does get in the way of calling a bastard a bastard

Yes, there is a great deal of saving jobs at the cost of any vestige of integrity or independence. Peter Dunne is a worm and ACT a cluster of worm casts. There needs to be an MP with the independent will of Marilyn Waring (even if she chose the wrong party) to scupper the whole process.
