Thank you Jackie, I think she's very pretty, but I'm very biased. :-)
She's not young anymore, and I'm aware she may not have many more years. I was thinking this, sadly, when I was going to bed the other night, only to have her keep waking me up through the night with her crazy high-jinks. Obviously still feisty. :-) -

Tomorrow in the daylight I'll take a more descriptive shot. Here on the hillside it's very dry and very warm (heat reflects off the rock faces), and these lil dudes have a watering system.

Thanks folks, that looks like it. 6 to 7 metres, eh?? There are at least half a dozen of these in the garden – we’ll be brachiating in no time. :-)

Is that a juvenile black-backed gull? If I put out bread on the deck-railing here we get first sparrows and then black backed gulls, which land with a thud and a squawk. When they walk on the roof with their big flappy feet, you'd swear there was a person up there.
