not connected to anything, but I wanted to share a clip - Real Groovy has priced down a lot of their old vinyl stock, so I picked this up for cheap.
anyway, the more I hear it, the more have to keep playing it...
apparently David Holmes has used it in his latest mix wotsit.

cheers Russell.
and at risk of I'm not sure what, Liam Dann and I did a yacht rock night at Golden Dawn on Wednesday - we had a good time anyway. there was even some dancing.
just grabbed a nice 7 of Ace's How Long at Real Groovy with the proceeds so I hope we get another run or I'm looking like having some well dodgy dodginess taking up valuable record space.but to remove any curse I also found this great Louis Armstrong number...

for some reason the tracks you've posted aren't showing up for me...what's the 7 you mentioned?

well done that man. it's all in the bells.
it comes an oddball French dance troupe soundtrack album, Bejart.
And hell yeah Danielle. Never understood why Ellis wasn't more known. I guess you've got Nitty Gritty and The Name Song as well? Fair dinkum good times.

now I'm just the early doors boozer who won't go home, and I seem to be the only one left at the party, but I wanted to plus one on the Builders references above before heading back to the fan-damly.
aside from the odd - at times very odd - Builders album still lurking at home, I had a lovely wee while chatting with Mr Direen at ye olde Shakespeare. A nice bloke and no mistake. With his own teeth and everything.
And I'm not certain why but I have a suspicion his stuff will endure in better health than much of other the stuff of that ilk.that said, if anyone has a copy of this slice of made Peruvian madness, I'd be well up for sorting out some kind of rental agreement - Vampi Soul comped it a wee while ago, but I really want/ need the 7''...just love the hi-hats.

hey matey, I'm here all week...not really, but do try the veal.
and this...
-
it's end o' year bubbles o'clock here, so that's my excuse for a little selfindulgence...hic
I share Danielle's enthusiasm for Nancy Wilson...have you heard this one?
I've also finally found a decent copy of Helen Shapiro's finest hour - the single is insanely rare, but I spotted it last week on the English-pressed comp...top blue-eyed Northern soul styles
also flogged off enough rubbish to afford for this...your starter for ten: what telly theme did this inspire?
have a merry wotsit.

never doubted it would be...

Merry Christmas and stuff Russell - from this distance you seem to have had an, erm, odd couple of days.
Just wanted to share this find - I've been after T-Rex's Futuristic Dragon for yonks and finally turned up a minty copy in Melbourne.
Calling All Destroyers might be a bit much for now, so here's Ride My Wheels...just the business for a sunny day.

twatcock and the rest are all very well but I'm still a fan of 'Theatre'...that was a well useful word hereabouts.
