Picking up on the "On the Mat" discussion - please do add your suggestions about who you'd like to see again - over on the Forum at NZ On Screen.
Sadly there isn't very much footage around, but we're working on it!

Can people overseas access TVNZ online as I posted a link for the 7 Worlds Collide doco on a list and they couldn't access it in the states?
They can't. But the links Russell posted for Heavenly Pop Hits were to NZ On Screen - and you can access that from anywhere :)

That news footage of the protestors is pretty potent stuff!
For those that are interested, the Merata Mita documentary Patu! covers the 'mass civil disobedience' that took place in 1981 around this tour. The doco is available in full here and also Try Revolution which looks at the situation in South Africa at the time.

Wooly valley episodes-yay
OMG! NZ On Screen, I would like to marry you, in some sort of abstract way.
I'm not sure we're compatible, if strange broom-figures from the 80s get your juices flowing :)
OTOH, have been compelled to continue the cringe today as I watched The Marching Girls. Aside from the weird acting; everyone smokes, taxis are Holden HQs, no seatbelts, and marching to heavy metal ... not quite sure what to think!

See young music journalist Russell Brown in his cosmic surrounds - Heavenly Pop Hits - the Flying Nun Story
Sorry to be a bit off topic but I watched this in the weekend and am certain it will resonate with many of you!

I searched and only found this Gallery item from 1973 - Norman Kirk the first 250 Days.

Prob 15+ years ago Ian Fraser did a series of NZ political history docos that I have always wanted to see again. For some reason the title "frontline" keeps popping into my head, but it just sounds wrong?
You might be referring to the Revolution series from 1996 - Although he also had a show called Fraser which ran 1994-1998.
If you're interested, the first episode of Revolution is on NZ On Screen here

I am amazed that such a poorly worded question got so far in the first place. Amazed that the media haven't been held more to account for so screwing with people's understanding and perceptions of what the 'law' actually says, and what this farcical referendum means.
And I'm ashamed to be a New Zealander on the basis of this whole debacle. Some outrage here: http://sandy.terapad.com but overall shame.

Awestruck? Not as good as cuntstruck tho.
However possibly with more options for relevant use in general speech. Cuntstruck is best used when it really suits.
