That was my feeling as well. Strange to think that the BDO crowd was arguably more pleasant than the Laneway crowd!
And like you say, the Lorde gig more than made up for it

Did anyone else think the lack of big screens was a little odd? It must have contributed to the massive crowding, as it was pretty hard to see the performers at the main stages or the small stage without being really close up
