Perhaps if cyclists were to contribute some form of license fee
I'm pretty sure most adult cyclists also own and drive cars

Hard News: Staying Alive, in reply to
Does this include jumping red’s when you consider it safe to do so?
I do, particularly going along Broadway at the Ayr St intersection, where two lanes of traffic turn into one and a half lanes combined with parallel parking. It's a dangerous setup. When it would be so easy to be killed "by accident", I'd rather put my own safety first ahead of complying with road rules that were written with motor vehicles in mind.

(I assume it's good beer)
Well their friends seem to think so, but then again they would say that. I'll see if I can head over to the Shore some time this week to corroborate their tastings. I can certainly vouch for their home brewing credentials... check out the high tech equipment they were using at home

This seems like an opportune time to let you beer aficionados in Auckland know that a mate of mine has set up a craft brewery/bar/restaurant in Browns Bay. They opened on the weekend and by all accounts it's been a raging success. They're open every day from 11am except on Mondays when they're closed for brewing.
Hope you don't mind the blatant advertising.

You have Richard Hulse to thank for the quality and smartness of that service. Dude is a hero.

I usually listen to Radio NZ in podcast/mp3 form, with a preference for the longer format shows like Nine to Noon, and Saturday and Sunday mornings. They're good for listening to while doing mundane number crunching tasks at work.
I never really liked Sean Plunkett's combative style, it's the last thing I need in the morning.

Done. I have no problem contributing to the smartest website in the country (that's you guys).

Did you see Die Antwoord in the boiler room? That was hilarious.
