From a personal perspective, it's tiring how often we have to address and re-address what looks very much to be blatant racism in the mainstream media.
I ended up having to choose going to this event, and an Art Fest event in Sandringham. It turned out it was a wise choice, and I'm just wondering which media to use to bang on about all the things that made Sandringham Village 'work' on a Saturday evening.
In a professional capacity: You are welcome to forward through your thoughts and experiences to the Local Board. We are also very concerned about the reports from the public regarding what was actually delivered at this event.

The fear of cycling is both real and perceived, I ride a bit and have a near miss once per day. As a new rider it was terrifying, as a more experienced one, I'm resigned to it. I ride defensively and alertly. But over say, 1000 near misses (4 years), the only times I've ever actually been harmed have been due user error.
Some of the road share concerns come from the idea that the road is for cars only, rather than for travelling to place to place by road users.
We're still in a chicken and egg stage however, more people riding bikes, more people visible on the road, more change in driver behaviour, more perceived safety and more people riding bikes.

I just read a cosmo for the first time in about 20 years. It was, I hate to say it, quite good. Fantastic article on emotional abuse in relationships, and associated definition of gas lighting. So that's twice I've heard that this year.
But as a result I'm going to formally submit AF, and give co-credit to Carol.
Turns out AF is definitely word of the year in the gossip mags. -
