Sometime in the lead up to New Year's Eve 1999-2000 TVNZ did a poll of "10 Worst Disasters of the 20th Century". I swear to God "Losing the World Cup" was on the list.

Well its all over now. From what I can gather everyones taking it pretty hard. Maybe some good will come out of it. The sport one either embraces or rebels against is much like the religion one does the same to, it comes from upbringing. But anyway
That's two bests and a biggest by my count, but whatever
There is a lot of bad things in Australia the Free to air TV sucks Except SBS sometimes, Holdens, John Howard & Co, Alex Bummer, Abbot&Costello. No Russell Brown( the media is awash with right wing arseholes) And Aussie beer except Little Creatures.
And for your info I have two passports, one birth place Auckland.
And much like you, I Guess, I can be reflexive in my posts sometimes. But that the nature of this immediate medium.
Anyway I doubt if anyone will see this as we have all moved on. And I head back to NZ to look after my ailing father.
I look forward to seeing the lush green hills and windswept black sand beaches. But as you say, and I mean it not in a bad way, whatever.
