Capture: Art On The Street, in reply to
Worcester Street
Cool, I'll have to have a wander when I am working in Chch for a few days in a week or so.

A good blog entry from Sam Wang (the Princeton poll analyst) about the hissy fit that Gallup have thrown around having their polling accuracy compared.

I have been wasting so much time this week on the Infinite Jukebox (which was rather overwhelmed by the internet for the first few days of its life).
This site is a Chrome web browser thing. It takes an mp3, works out where the similar beats in it are so to construct alternate pathways through the track that should sound pretty seemless, then creates an infinite remix by randomly walking through the track (it seems to have about a 20% chance of taking an alternate route if available). It has a good visualiser too.
Because it can be somewhat overloaded (evening in NZ is good, as it is the early hours in the U.S. so most people are asleep) which stops uploading, here is a link to recent uploads by other people. When totally swamped, it was set to “Call Me Maybe” mode.
For example, Kate Bush’s Running Up That Hill works rather well. -
