I went to a Friends of the Early Settlers Event this evening (I have a relative who is a friend). P.S. Ian the Dunedin Sound is intended as a rotating permanent exhibit that they will be circulating artefacts through on a changing basis.
This picture is part of Pixietown, set up for the Christmas period. For those that remember a Pixietown (there were a few Pixietowns) they were clockwork and gear animatronic gnome cities that (at least in Dunedin) were set up as part of Santa's grotto.

Closer up, I think the yellow tinted lilies are more interesting than the pure white, as the have a greater range on tones.
