Thank you Judith.
And everyone else for sharing what must be very personal and difficult stories to tell.
The article doesn't mention it, but would this include counseling for someone diagnosed with a terminal illness, or their family? That would seem to be a huge area where talk therapy is crucial.
I despair of the cynicism these policies and profit driven motives represent. As if we are trying to systematically remove compassion and empathy from society.
Not on my watch.

That must have been quite a shock Hilary. I've seen a lot of photos which make me thankful it happened on a weekend, not in the middle of a busy working day. Lots of shelves and other things that thankfully fell into uninhabited spaces.

Speaking of local talent going international, any love for The Veils round here?
I for one am looking forward to hearing these tracks, and others, live tonight, if not the crush of the Studio, which yet again seems a strange choice of venue. They sold out tonight, and have put another on tomorrow, which I believe still has tickets.

ETA: That Flying Out website is pretty decent. Easy to navigate, linked to listening on Spotify, and free shipping to my chosen address, including for Vinyl.
Will Fly again.

Goddam I want all the Peter Jefferies! In fact, just ordered it. Got the Kilgour Vinyl earlier. Is wonderful.
And since we’re looking back, our friend Darkstation (soon to be Dr Darkstation) just posted Pink Frost to Soundcloud, from the Gluepot 1990.
Hope that bloody cold gets gone soon.

Then someone decided to blow up the banks…
Well, really, as you can possibly see from last last shot, it's a 'dress rehearsal' for National day on 9th August. They practice by getting all the local school children to come along and sing all the songs, and enjoy the spectacle of the fireworks, etc, in the weekends leading up to the actual day.
Costly little exercise, I would imagine.
