The Merch of Vendors…
a mere pound of PAS pastina pasta?
Pasta alphabets – just the letters for Hard News
& Public Address ?
including fideo from You tubetti……swamped in a rich and reliable sauce,
topped with great cheese, natch!so we’ve covered most of the major site predilections with clothing, food, whisky, cups, etc – only things left might be Hard News / PAS fluoro bike clips and shoe horns (made from old Feelers vinyl)!

Hard News: Asking for a Contribution, in reply to
TZINTZUNTZAN
with a vast electrical storm in the headwaters
the burbling, oft babbling, stream of consciousness rapidly becomes a torrent, and emerging from the maelstrom, a raft of ideas ...
(or more of a raft of the Medusa for the stoned)Tintin no round pyramids though...
and all those humming birds (like Anne Pigalle, Grace Jones, Kirsty MacColl, Claudia Brucken, Susanne Freytag, and Anne Dudley ) on Zang Tumb Tuum Records...
and of course Zang Tumb Tumb was a hummer of a modernist tone poem...
(with brilliant ideas like: 'We must destroy syntax by placing nouns at random as they are born'
'We must abolish the adjective so that the naked noun can retain its essential colour.' ) -
Torah, Torah, Torah!
Tallit like it is,
why don't ya ;- )
- tis Tzitzit what it ith?A thread-jack-knife - well twisted indeed.
Are you torquing to me...?
Are you (politely) telling me to get knotted?
Or is this a quipu made?Let the abacussing begin:
(in a sort of Incan-descent rage)
the Nepohualtzintzin was a very early Mesoamerican personal computer (note the similarity of tzintzin to tzitzit, hmmm)
some nice pix here, needs translating though...or in other words, ta for joining the fun
to Lilith, Recordari and Geoff -

T = starter for 10...
... what's the kiwi link with Midnight Oil ?
I got the Mondo Rock one wrong,
but this time I'm pretty sure the answer
is that noted Masochist, Suburban
Lounge Lizard and Swinger:

... it's true - the dues run the blogosphere!
I feel my meagre contribution is more of a Pun Tax... (and who the hell can afford the much, much higher Sin Tax?)
There is no rebate on debate, and one feels duty-bound to assist in your tariffic work. Mental excise doesn't impose such a toll when followed by the customary cuppa levy-tea... aaah! The tithe that bind... -
Gig legs, giggles...
Newcastle RSLfucking stairs, Leagues clubs, the Tivoli, Dee Why pub, Frenchs
The Hopetoun. Des Truction playing C&W. Balmain on a sunday Selinas
Rollerskating Disco oh dear........Bondi Lifesaver, The Civic, Blacktown RSL, some bar in The Cross...
- weirdest lug - packing into the Newcastle RSL (oh the stairs, indeed) as Les Girls (or similar) packed out. -
Soon bloggers here will be packed in like the sardines they secretly are.
Sardonic, like...

the Band back in the day
I've always harboured a soft spot for 'Towtruck' off the Payload EP
and the Toni Collette version of Throw your arms around me in the movie Cosi was nice too -

Gary Young was in Jo Jo Zep after Daddy Cool
I think their big hit here was Walk on By(added) and looking at the other clips available - who knew that Jane Clifton sang with them?
I thought she was reporting in Wellington back then, I remember her at boozy lunches with folk like the late Warren Mayne in the early NBR days...
I suspect they are not the same person...
;- )
