I think Darren Hughes will be another bright spark to watch. David Cunliffe (also very bright) and Shane Jones have been moving up and that is going to be a strength as opposition. At this point, I think Phil Goff will be needed for his experience and with Helen they will introduce the team we should consider.

PUBLIC SERVANTS! See, apparently the country can do without them but his orifice requires that 36 are needed to tell him what to say, and research his well.... dunno really. Shit now we might get some policy. Maybe we could have just asked his staff.

I just tried burying my head in the quicksand to see how it felt. Well ...it felt like suffocation. For a time when the world has shouted that greed is not good, that self interest is detrimental to a healthy society, NZ (with its infinite wisdom) decides that right and far right is the path to follow. I think thousands is overstating things fairly massively. There aren't that many in Welly (where the question mark about public sector productivity hangs).

i guess we still have a lot of sheep in this country,(albeit some are now cows) Helen is a hard act to follow for anyone and I suspect Key hasn't understood that. I am saddened that after 9 years of building a respected country for its citizens and, on the world stage, we have just given National carte blanche. One step forward two steps back. It is just how I felt when John Banks got back in the Auckland City Council. Same shit, different day :( (my jaw is dropping)

I got from the west coast ...Bushit fucked it, Obambam wil fix it. Then further up was ... Mcain ejection, Obama erection. Family said people were actually out in the streets screaming and crying for joy and relief. Alot of happy people there :) And here, the sun shines. I like that. (it's probably a Mexican thing, we like the sun.)
