So, why is it that people supposedly don't like Kyle Mills?
Because his test performances have not matched his ODI achievements. Not even close.
And, increasingly, this doesn’t appear to bother him.
His brother’s actions / comments probably don’t help either.
Well that’s my take anyway. -
Mind you, tennis is the worst sport for radio commentary:
Yachting would push it.
Only difference is that tennis televises well.

Taylor’s ODI form home and away v England wasn’t that great, so he will only have started rising since the tour of Bangladesh.
And scores against the Bangles and the Windies don’t count for that much.
And the way things are going, even a good score against Australia won’t change things much either.
Favourite commentary moment from Langer last night. “Hussey can still get a 100 here.” This was with the 43rd over about to start and him on 49. Out next ball.

HG;
You're getting a bit sensitive there.
That's 1 player out of 11 in football and hockey. The rest do both (to varying degrees)
-
He'd probably do the non goal-kicking stuff, rather than the goal-kicking, and he might be an awesome goal-kicker, but does it really strike you as that unlikely that there is no-one out there who ain't great at the rest of rugby, but is better than DC at goal-kicking?
Of course there is.
And that there is no-one out there who couldn't hold a candle to DC at kicking and running with the ball, but could tackle better than him?
But who’d get to pose for the ads?

Or Beckham should only take free kicks, never play the other 99% of the game.
Which is pretty much what happens when he plays in the US.
We might be onto something here…

Not sure the US Embassy is known for throwing shindigs open to the general public HG.
You deserve an invitation though.

You’ve also got to remember the Gridiron players need to be extra fit to carry round those shoulder pads and helmet for the best part of a day.
-
Gridiron / American Football / Super Bowl is fine.
But the New Zealand equivalent of the sport, called bullrush, is much better.

Yikes Emma, who put that together?
Totally misses out on his cynical side, which was always his biggest strength.
