Less than seven weeks to go until the election, and so far there doesn't seem to be one broadcast interview that's got the audience enthused and infuriated.
But on Tuesday, Morning Report co-host Guyon Espiner's interview with Greens co-leader James Shaw raised a few eyebrows. Shaw appeared to be a little perturbed during the nearly 12-minute-long exchange on Radio NZ dealing with the kerfuffle in the party following co-leader Metiria Turei's admission of benefit fraud, which has led to two MPs getting booted from the party caucus.Susie Ferguson wasn't much better with Metiria this morning - let them finish their sentences!

As far as I can tell he’s just making stuff up...
Well he definitely made up a novel spelling of Metiria's name.
Not a details person I guess... -

A political leader polarising folks and thereby defeating her own side is incompetent, and the next polls may reveal this stark reality.
They stand to lose a lot more by resiling from the position they have taken so far.
There is a lot of clamour, and shouting from the usual suspects and the commentariat, but that is still a very small number of people. In the immortal words of Donald Trump "time will tell, time will tell".

James Shaw interrogated by Guyon Espiner
Espiner once again won't let people finish a sentence - in his myopic quest for one word answers - or just the answer he wants., irrespective.
He is getting past his use-by-date.
Fast becoming a Hosking-light.He would extract more by leaving silences for interviewees to fill rather than whipping himself into a frenzy on his perceived 'home stretch'.

Over the last ten years I have become, to all intents and purposes, deaf in my left ear.
Life with 'dextear'
a lot less 'sinistear'...
:- )ear today, gone tomorrow..
My (ears) are deteriorating as well, I have this 'cilia' image in my head of the inner ear represented as a telegraph pole, with someone shooting off the insulators which are the various audible frequencies ... -
If the Government wants to take Metiria fully to task - they should also reveal the full report into the (now ex) Auditor General, or are they just after transparency behind a two-way mirror?
What did go on?
Ineptitude or mis/malfeasance? -
