I guess you do have a point on Owen Glenn, he did give $7.5 Million to Auck Unni
But I wonder on what position you would have taken (or did) if some rich prick gave mega bucks to the National party and recieved a knighthood in his christmas stocking
Especially when the F F A seemed to be specifially changed to allow the afore mentioned Labour rich prick to keep on giving
It really does look like a Government out of touch with the people it is meant to represent -
Well RB, that is Craig but what about the rest of us getting a word in sideways
Nice post Emma, I have always liked your comments so bring it on -
I just wish they had used plain H2O and counted the complaints
There just are some people who love to complain/whineAnd in the interests of fairness/natural justice I have to tell you there were people in the south who thought we should just nuke the whole dam place.........not my opinion just what people said
Anyway job well done Jim S and Jim A -
If it is all about money
And there is transparency ie we know where it comes from
Something Labour talk up but as yet refuse to demandWhat is the difference between using your own money or using the money you removed (somewhat in surplus to their real needs) from the tax payer
That is supposing money/advertising will change their vote

Agree 100% Russell
God this blogging adiction is turning my personal politics as well as wasting time
Anyway
Gambling will always be with us and the poor are often driven by circumstances to gamble
Not sure what the answer is but pokies should be made really hard to access, not next door to the local easy credit shop
There was a time when the TAB was the only legal way of betting and it was required to be very low profile, bring it back -
An excellent distilation of the bail laws Graeme
As someone who occasionaly has to apply them you have captured the flavour exactly
When it comes to supression it is easier to keep Pandora's box closed because quite simply once opened it is too late to do anything
Hence the conservative approach to suppession -
Thanks Craig
Interesting to get the facts on the Brownlee case, it was not a pensionerand Brownlee went down the stairs hmmmm does not sound quite so bad does it
Still as you say. "not palatable"Now let me make it clear I don't like Mallard, bad mouthing ,sports mad bullies are not my style
But I do like the way he took ownership of what happened, no whinning, no excuses, no buts -
What is it with you Aucklanders,
When did you last have a mayor who was not a nutbar and now you are recycling the worst of them -
Well I for one really enjoyed the use of the Wide shot as it gave a much more natural picture and showed what variations could be played and were
The normal close in shots may give a players view of play but if you actually go to a game that's not what you see and that is what I am used to.....don't have sky so it has been sometime since I watched whole game on TV -
Passed me by to a certain extent
I was told as I walked out of my mother's hospital room
We had pulled the plug and were just waiting for her to die, which she did that night"Such is life"
