as well as $100,000 for a cup village.
Some Mad Hatters’ Tea Party theme?

I reckon there should be a cap on transfers, not wages.
That would stop the situation you get in football where the likes of Chelsea and Man City go out and buy ready-made teams, taking the competitiveness out of the league.
But these marquee players at the Storm were developed by the club. Billy Slater was working on the trains in Randwick; the Storm took a punt, and through their development programme turned him into what he is now.
Seems wrong that the rules punish them for that.

I'm surprised that they didn't strip them out of this year's competition entirely.
That would’ve been fairer in some ways.
But it would’ve detracted from State of Origin, and they wouldn’t want that.

The fire sale wil be at the end of the season, and other clubs will be offloading their breaches then too.
They've been allowed to honour this year's contracts.
The Police angle is interesting; can't really see what general law they've broken

Are there any other cities in the world built on an active volcanic field like ours?

So how about the people actually making those test flights then???

So why doesn’t bFm get broadcast nationally then?

Since pedantry seems to be the go on this thread:
Clark, well more Winston Peters really, did mandate that a Fijian football player with nebulous links to the government couldn’t visit here to play a qualifier for this year’s World Cup. This meant our “home” leg got played in Fiji.
BTW, FIFA mandate that foreign policy ideals must not come in the way of their tournaments way more than the IRB do.

Wasn’t the area for Liverpool fans oversold? I know that wasn’t the only factor, but I thought it was in the mix.
Not sure what the answer with season ticket holders is. It amazed me that for the final Phoenix match there were tickets going for $100 on TradeMe yet there were around 1000 yellow seats.

Just seen the interview on the telly now.
Normally I've not seen the need to praise RB's work on there because I suspect he doesn't want to turn this forum into a Facebook Fanpage.
But tonight was well done.
To use a sporting analogy, gulp, I'll take boxing.
GMV came out all smooth (and he is very smooth), RB took a few jabs to the chinn, and then, with about 15 secs before the bell, suckered him into dropping the "Ends justifying the means" line.
Superb. KO
