Hard News: Spring Timing, in reply to
OK, fair enough Ben/Deborah.
Perhaps i'm showing some ignorance/bias here, I had assumed that was what he meant.

With respect Deborah, that’s willful blindness.
It would be assumed to be from Harvard Business School, and one would make the distinction if it wasn’t (and he didn’t).

The problem may be that less engaged voters still don't seem to like him
I'm finding it hard to like him when I hear him effectively telling bald face lies, like "I have a harvard degree".
Some may argue its not a lie but a technicality, but to me it makes him a bullshitter. And they're often hard to like (and that's ignoring the trust issue). So he's not doing himself any favours.

Notes & Queries: Time & Perfume, in reply to
Le Feu d’Issey?
Yep, got it in one :)
I have seen them for sale on Ebay for around 200-400, but we worry about whether they are still in good shape, I have had issues with old perfumes in the past.
If you ever chance upon anything let the PA community know, i'm sure I am not the only one who would like to use a service like this.

This might be the perfect place to ask this question:
Are there places where I can get a perfume made that matches an out-of-production scent?
My partner would love to get hold of an Issey Miyake perfume that they no longer produced. My very limited enquiries to date have not turned up a company or a "nose" who is able to hand mix us something up. I guess they would need to know the original, but perhaps the major brands are fairly well documented somewhere?
Anyone know?

Couldn't resist. What playing cricket looks like to Americans (or perhaps many of us)

Great food, great value too.
Eventually it was. We got screwed by going there way early and paid $15 for the pork ribs - which became $6 later in the day when they figured out there were only so many suckers out there. I'm pretty easy with getting ripped of at events, its just part of it, but I did look twice when my $15 ribs turned up to make sure they hadn't forgotten to give me part of it.
And I'll repeat an earlier comment because I think they deserve the props - the meatball grinders ruled.

had a blast with Major Lazer.
I stuck around and tried, I really really did try, but I guess I just don't get this type of music delivery. A song/clip starts, you get started grooving, and then it stops and they talk for a bit, then it repeats. I don't know for certain, but it felt like you never got more than 30secs actual music at a time. Excuse my musical ignorance, but is this a common style of delivery or peculiar to Major Lazer?

We vowed not to attempt that egress again – it felt unsafe.
I was caught up in it a few times, and while it was a pain I don't recall ever feeling unsafe. Was I oblivious to something that was actually dangerous?
I thoroughly enjoyed this years BDO, the setting worked out much better than I thought it would. Its pretty magic watching bands lakeside.
Without wanting to focus on the negatives, the toilets and food/drink queues were terrible and will have to be sorted out if the event is staged here again. Similarly to someone else above, my partner and I left with most of the money we arrived with, we simply couldn't spend it. And the idea to make patrons buy tokens of differing values at Chow Town was just plain stupid - but the grinder I got there was Just. Simply. Awesome.

was this murky “reasonable force” law that allowed the latter group to get off thanks to a jury of their peers.
Are there any figures on how often this defense was used successfully? I'm not trying to start a debate on it, just interested.
