Bombs in Christchurch was part of the turf war for bars & brothels during the 1980s.
The Firehouse & Route 66 were both bombed, Crazy Horse was torched. As for the tour bomb, I put it into the same file as Polish aggression causing the Nazi self defence programme.

I was recently a witness at a tenancy hearing - we won with costs to be paid by the Landlord/Property Managers.
I have the firm impression, that the Property Managers using a zero letting fee are seeing the bond as theirs.
This was a common practise in Oz a few years back.A current affairs show who digs through a few court records might come up with an interesting story and constant course of action by certain companies.

I do love this Brian Rudman piece. He pokes holes at faith and then of course quotes from a fake source.
* An earlier version of this story included a quote attributed to Brian Tamaki's website. This was mistakenly taken from a fake website.

The horsey types tried to get a mounted unit off the ground here in Christchurch some time in the 1990s.
It was pretty much closed due to being too costly for little reward.
They were stabled out Marshlands/Belfast way (near my Granparents).
From the open day photos.
Who would've guessed it? A blond woman riding a horse in a non-uniform helmet = Dressage.
Did they have a game of Rugby or Touch as well?I've seen a cop on crowd control for Uni graduations wearing the blue overalls and riding a bike with helmet.
It all seemed very licorice allsorts, not at all uniform or even recognisable. However the traffic squad is used as a dumping ground while issues are being worked through - ie Connelly (now in prison).

Matthew - I'm not claiming they're acting legally.
Kyle - That's the kind of policing I remeber. It is passing away with the advent of portable cameras & youtube. -
I truely wonder if this is arson simply setting a fire in Canty during the dry or some sort of reason to remove that curse of pleasant landscapes - golf.

Yeah right.

I doubt the PET bottle sterilizing process and wouldn't have anyone use it if there was any alternative.
To my mind it's just another reason to have household roof fed watertanks.

RNZ saying the Ploughshares were seen by the security guard having a prayer meeting.
When NZDF(et al) can't defend themselves against the extras from Last of the Summer Wine.
NZDF really have to take stock.
