My son lives in Auckland Central, and he voted for Nikki Kaye, because she was young, and a woman - a rare species among National candidates. His party vote didn't go to National, though.

I'll be voting this evening, at a booth just round the corner from my house, on my way home from work. Then, after dinner, I'll put on a DVD - Pink Floyd's "Pulse" should be right.
On Sunday morning, I'll turn on the radio, to hear the worst - I'm too old to stand the drawn out torture of the election results. -
More.."he's a perfect representative of all that is not american....he's a third worlder." This guy appers to be some sort of blogger, and claims to be a "newsman".

Since Stephen Boock was a pupil when I was there, regularly taking record hauls in schoolboy cricket, you would think he would be good enough to claim.... -
This is a little belated, but I'd like to thank the staff of the ICU and cardiac wards at Dunedin hospital for their care of my mother, after her heart attack a couple of years ago. One hears a lot of whinging about the hospitals in New Zealand, but I have to say that my experiences over the years have been excellent.

Now you know why he's called "Chuck". Sorry.....couldn't resist...
