Jolly good but why not include some country's PM? Must be one somewhere.

Today QT. They spent the first 15+ minutes untying the meaning of Carter's ruling and Robertson's question 1 was phrased with the same sort of words that Carter had OKed yesterday. Carter ruled his question out even though it was using similar pattern as Key's rants. Contradictory!

The USA has the "Atlantic" and reported this shambles as well.

Outside our Countdown there are the low down cycle racks which twist the rims. Nearby they have a wonderful hip high stainless steel trolley park which is ideal for my bike. A few others use my rack but the more compliant cyclists stick to the provided racks and put up with wobbly wheels.
Should those lowly ones be called bike wracks? -
And the most interesting part is who's not in the tent.
Perhaps risk averse conservatives might wait and see and if it looks safe and secure, more might come forward.
Be awful to have Central Government MPs voting issue by issue. They would have to canvass the electors to find out what to think. Long may Councils continue to do that. -
I think that when problems are huge then it is harder and harder to get exposure and the people will instead respond to Rugby greats or the colour of the flag. Any one of the well written items on Barnaby's list would be worthy of deadly serious concern/action. But where would you start? Being totally sympathetic to the Christchurch plight is not enough. My blood boils when Alf's circumstances are aired. Remember that John Campbell aired so many of the Christchurch concerns including that of Alf's story. And now John is blocked. Who will speak effectively against the injustice?

Spitting votes will happen when you have two very similar choices. So those who would vote for a good fern/stars flag, will have their votes split. Instead of say 40% for such a flag get 2 X 20%. For the final four, Mr Key should have chosen a good fern/star one and 3 others totally different in style.

Didn't realise that the anthem could sound so perky Paul! A new spring in my step. Hip ray!

That video showing the 5 elements of design resonates with me but why didn't Mr Key's mates on the pseudo Panel watch it?
I guess those of us who are not impressed with the infamous 4, will have to vote for the Koru. If say 40% vote Koru, that would put it in the final with a sure bet to loose the race against the existing flag.
Or would Mr Key run true to his form and just make a unilateral decision and negate the referendum?
