Excellent post,
It's funny - looking at the stats, the ball handling, the 15 phase movements - you wouldn't think it possible.
Which just reinforces what true believers have always known: the secret to our success lay in Carl Haymens beard.

Amen brotha' - I called back after my Mekong with Prawns came with Chicken. Chicken!

I came out with a smile.
I don't really care for your opinions about fanboys - Transformers is before their time and our showing (Embassy Theatre, Welly) was a lot like yours: full of couples and flash looking 20-somethings.
It was fun, and the effects were mind-blowing. Well worth it IMHO.

To jump back to the whole, 'are you liable for an embedded clip containing infringing material':
I'm not a lawyer but the practical difference over whether you host the actual clip, or YouTube does, is none-at-all to the user. If you were paying YouTube to host the clip, surely you become liable? So what why does that change if you embed the content?

Hey DPF - good job on switching to WP - definitely the way to go.
I believe there exists a plugin for WP that allows voting on comments - see this URL. If you don't find that sufficient, drop me a line, I'd be interested in developing something similar for a high traffic WP blog.

I see that if you go to 'Select an MP', dear Dr Don is still at the top.
Heh, within hours the site has been amended. Wonders never cease.

He's also a much more appealing figure today than he was then.
Probably, but he's picked his battle and I don't think he can turn his global warming groove into a winning campaign for the nomination.
The Obama/Clinton debate aside, I really think 08 will be driven by the Republican candidate. My gut says that it doesn't really matter who the Democrat challenger is - in the end people will wait to see if the Republicans can put up someone who is sufficiently not-Bush to be electable.
Then again, I thought the last time round was going to be a democrat white-wash. Who knowns the mind of the American voter?
