Capture: Two Tales of a City, in reply to
I tried to put a comment up recently (at The Press site)
I put a comment earlier on that Jane Bowron article with a link to this post (Two Tales of a City), and the mod has printed the comment but removed the link, which makes it nonsense.
I'm against spam and irrelevant link-whoring, but dammit this is the internet. It makes connections!

Oh dear, I hope this was a planned refugism, not an unplanned one! Hope you're OK.

Mr Dalziel and others taking the Press’s Jane Bowron to task
The comments are much better than the article!
I always giggle when someone derides "do-gooders". Better than no-hopers, eh! :-)

Thank you, that’s interesting.
I think it’s really cool that we each see our own personal rainbows :-)
I’ve been told that Witch Hill is associated with rainbows, can anyone explain?

The rainbows are lovely! But I feel I should point out that technically, they're all different rainbows -- even 2 people standing side by side see different ones, each caused by the light hitting a particular set of water droplets.

You can see a lot of stuff on the internet that you’d never see on the street.
Blistering barnacles. Showjumping bunnies!

Sure to rise.
Nice logo. And David McPhail never seems to get any older! Thanks for the pics, Gudrun.
Although I don't have strong feelings about the Anglican Cathedral as a building, it is part of our heritage and I certainly think it should be restored/rebuilt if at all feasible.
