I went the other way--from comfortable middle class to dirt poor middle class. I have yet to develop any strong feelings about car breeds.

Pyjamas. If you're really really up for it add slippers. Pantingly desperate, a dressing gown.
A pipe and a newspaper would be considered acceptable accoutrements.

I would put the entire 50 cents I have in my wallet (if you don't mind it in 10 cent pieces) on there being far fewer "we've all done something we regret in the morning", "it was just kids blowing off steam", and "the police have to take some of the blame" type comments if this happened in my neighbourhood, Naenae.
I'm sure people have plenty of justifications as to why this isn't true but if they honestly believe white middle class kids get the same treatment as poor brown kids they're either ignorant or deluded.

I'm not a fan of prescriptive lists when it comes to human people. They always seem to end in the smugness of those who conform to the script.

Thank you for the interviews! Utterly baffling about the exporting to the web problems though. Maybe professional television people should invest in an ancient MacBook, a copy of iMovie, and a 10 year old.
Also really enjoyed and was inspired by your talk at Webstock. And was astounded to see the ultra-productive Russell Brown is a two-fingered typist! Respect.

'Vintage' is something which evokes, through spirited or beautiful design, the era in which it was made.
That's my point. Vintage had a specific meaning and it has now "been repurposed by the snob classes" to refer to anything bought secondhand.
