One of this site's USPs is the sheer bloody wonderful range of links to other music, and "cultural" sites on the internet that are posted by Russell, the writers and regulars. What about a sort of paid-for monthly or quarterly digest/round-up of the links. PA's Interweb Greatest Hits-type thingy. A lot of us would love to spend all day journeying the net but have limited time to do so, and when we're on that road we don't want to be taking trips up blind alleys (I will stop torturing that metaphor now).

seriously, I need to give some more thought to how Capture could contribute more.
Capture cards range: Colin, cats, water, sky-watching, nightlights, music peoples?

Russell, I think you should have a permanent “donate” button on the home page. I think a lot of people here would like to help with the upkeep. Doesn’t mean you can’t also have whip-rounds.
I agree totally. Maybe even encourage small regular donations by AP (by a large number of people)?

The thing I particularly loved about punk was the equal-opportunity attitude: one could be a female and still have balls. Patti Smith Horses did it for me; it was what I'd waited to hear my whole life. The "are you a proper punk" yattering was static to me; it was about what made every fibre of my teenage being come alive, not about who was first, musical lineage, and what colour rubbish bag you were wearing; that all seemed like a guy thing.

Hang on, weren't they all 'New Wave'?
An insult like that would get you in trouble in 1978.
