You must be a skilled paw masseuse Hebe, that cat looks completely relaxed!
Heh. I fiddle with their paws; mine stretch our their paws so I can stroke betwen their 'fingers'. It seems to discourage the cats from scratching people and things. I reckon cats have acupressure points -- paws, ears and on the back above the tail especially. My son has always twiddled his cats' ears, from the time he was about three; and the cats have always gone into a trance when he does it -- I used to fear he would be garked but it never has happened.
Having said all that online, I guess I can now be put in the bonkers old cat bat box. In my defence, I 've never been tempted to read their paws.

Hard News: The Perfect Drug, in reply to
Codeine too. After 10 days on codeine post emergency surgery, I knew it was time to stop when I found myself giving the charge nurse a convincing (and successful) rendition of "why it's too soon to stop giving me those pills".

Don't you think this Lytro should be in the perfect drug thread? I want one.

the bottom one too looks English-grandad's-shed
It's just the stuff that's accumulated out of the way of the trampoline and soccer pitch surrounding the chook shed (which is looking a little wonky these days ). Bluebell the rhode island red layabout is peering from the door of the coop (on the ground). We had planned to use the Balfour method of chicken keeping, but the girls loathe staying in their generous pen; they like to get out and scare a cat or two in the daytime.
We are still harvesting the odd tomato -- covering the plants and its stake with a coffee sack overnight and in bad weather, I aim to keep them going until the winter solstice if I can.
