The Guardian has England-USA game highlights. In Lego.
That's the trouble with having so many threads on similar topics. Yes, yes I'm being a 'na na, I posted it first' cock, but whatev's.

She's a chick?! I always assumed Tracy to be short for "Spencer Tracy" or something. How can a woman be both into rugby *and* statistics?
Next you'll be telling me they play the bloody game too. Is there no end to our emasculation?
Incidentally, Tracy is a common boys name meaning 'warlike'. Just sayin'.

Watching Italy Paraguay there were times when it looked like either the ball was going all over the place, or the kicker had decided that missing the goal by 20 metres was an acceptable option.
It would seem a little odd if the teams/players were offered a chance to play with these balls before the Cup and didn't. Especially as the problems were telegraphed quite a bit.

Going international.
"Staines."
"Deportivo Wanka"Hmm, have we gone too far yet?
Then of course there's the truly ridicolous;
"Krung Thep Mahanakhon Amon Rattanakosin Mahinthara Ayuthaya Mahadilok Phop Noppharat Ratchathani Burirom Udomratchaniwet Mahasathan Amon Piman Awatan Sathit Sakkathattiya Witsanukam Prasit Bravo Association Football Club".
It's knowledge bro'.

His daughter has Crystal Palace as her middle names. Yes, fanatic. :)
Thankfully it wasn't West Bromwich Albion.

As I write my sports programme this morning, I am shaking my head at how I am contributing to the feminisation.
Yes, I tried to comment earlier, but drew a blank. Oh no, these feminising effects are more powerful than I could have imagined.
Damn you and your wily ways!

Well, even Michael Jones probably went into tackles with the intention sometimes of making it hurt, but that's not the same thing as seeking to disable an opponent by injuring him in the head.
I guess I'm conflating 'hurt' with 'injure', and as much as I liked watching Jerry Collins, there were times when I thought 'I don't think that poor chap is going to get up again' (or words to that effect).
Anyway, I think most understand the distinction, and the refs are trained to know. I often wonder why McCaw hasn't gone the Kronfeld way with the head gear. He's had enough scares to warrant it.
Having posed the question, I found this.
Does padded headgear prevent head injury in rugby union football?
Answer. No. Interesting.
This rather fascinating literature review seems to give an insight.
Also interesting.
