This past Tuesday one of the Dropkicks was woken by his partner, who found him sleeping in their garden, at 9pm.
Could have been worse. Could have been 9am.
Another $33,000 night on the town was it?
Did you manage to avoid falling through any windscreens?

Every time I see Symond's bat I'm surprised he's not holding a can of XXXX in one hand as he runs between the wickets
Hitler was an Austrian, Napoleon from Corsica, Stalin was Georgian, the guy who invented apartheid whose name I can’t remember was from Holland. All these people took on the stereotypical national identities of their adopted countries to an unpleasant extreme.
Andrew Symonds is from Birmingham.

Wasn’t our Quarter-final screened by a UK outfit?? Pretty sure they were the ones who got involved in finally adjudicating on that jersey rubbish.
So I take it I’m the only person who quite likes the bird’s eye views they have for the games at the Stade de France?

More than anything, it’s probably a sad indictment of the refs around at the moment.
Interesting though; I remember thinking at the time how well the SA v Tonga game was done.

He’d reffed more than one match Kyle (inc. 3 Pac Rim tests this year and our opening romp v Italy.
Don’t be misled by that’s on his wiki page….

Lol; where did you get hold of an impractical South African from RB?
Agree with the wikipedia thing. On a tangent this accelerated promotion of Barnes is likely to have a very damaging effect on his career.

Winging about the ref should not be a core value of NZ rugby
Well put.
BTW, when the highlights come on next, check out the pass from Carter to Luke leading up to our first try.

He actually makes some good points (Argentina, games in Apia, the Steve Devine cynicism, reneging on crowd guarantees at RWC2011 etc..)
But quite what this has to do with Saturday’s game is beyond me.

So that'd be the sort of "hugely significant" event where no one scored or was penalised or got injured and the ball didn't change hands?
Russell,
The penalty was in the play immediately following Carter’s cross-kick. That meant France went into the shed with their tails up; they have said after the match how important that was.

Robinson's deficiencies were hidden by the fact that Ali had an absolute blinder (pretty sure he was responsible for all the steals). Robinson didn't play badly as such; he just wasn't as influential as you'd want from a lock in a knockout game.
But I will admit it was strange that Jack did the seagull bit once he came on; especially since we'd given up moving it more than a couple of metres from the maul by that stage.
