Me Ne Frego on Manukau Road is bloody good I reckon. It's not expensive, but serves good, hearty food in big portions. The Tira Misu is a little bit disapointing, but as far as I can tell the rest of the menu is top notch.

And watch this become a debate about Mikey's fines rather than one about the HOS editorial, community service or even standards of juctice. Which it WOULD have been about if the HOS kept its eye on the ball.

I think the show's being filmed on Tuesday night. I think. Well, I hope for the sake of my sanity it is. And my thoughts on that editorial run towards amazement it was published: it really was, putting it kindly, all over the place.

"The song was inspired by an episode in which Iggy Pop, during a drug-fuelled period at Bowie’s LA home, hallucinated and believed that the television set was swallowing his girlfriend." via wikipedia

Where has all the aggro come from? And if you want to get totally trolleyed and burn a few things, why not go camp at a deserted beach and build a bonfire?
I think Mr Anthony Burgess has an answer:
"But youth is only being in a way like it might be an animal. No, it is not just like being an animal so much as being one of these malenky toys you viddy being sold in the streets, like little chellovecks made out of tin and with a spring inside and then a winding handle on the outside and you wind it up grrr grrr grrr and off it itties, like walking, O my brothers. But it itties in a straight line and bangs straight into things bang bang and it cannot help what it is doing. Being young is like being like one of these malenky machines.
My son, my son. When I had my son I would explain all that to him when he was starry enough to like understand. But then I knew he would not understand or would not want to understand at all and would do all the veshches I had done ..."

Lester Freamon would be proud.

I clearly remember an episode of After School where Olly Olsen appeared wearing a bandage (in my memory it was bloodied, but that might just be a later embellishment by my brain) and talking about how he'd been in an accident.
Find it and you shall receive my sincerest thanks.
