No, they were definitely down for the Aroha/Tamaki stages. If they'd played immediately before or after Snoop Dogg it would have made for quite an evening lineup on those stages.
I had heard they were scheduled before Arcade Fire?

I realise this might be going against the grain here, but I was there for Pearl Jam and they were amazing. Great set. I mainly stayed in the main arena as the queues getting in there early on put me off venturing far. The Hives were fantastic fun. Arcade fire were great. Beady Eye was there for a pay cheque.
All in all a good day and a pretty good setup, except for the queues. WOuld have been interesting to see how Blur would ahve fitted in on the bill, if I think they were meant to play the lakeside stage, that would have been more than interesting to see the crush entering and exiting. -

There comes a point in every older person’s life when you discover that music telly isn’t like it used to be in your youth, mainly because when all the videos being on YouTube, they’re not the special rare gems that they used to be. The kids of today aren’t going to have that experience. Yeah, they might stumble across a weird video, but their friend isn’t necessarily going to have seen it at the same time. Unless they message their friend with the link.
And basically any song. I remember listening to the radio when I was a teen in the 90's waiting for songs to come on so I could tape them. And how excited I would be to have it and be able to listen over and over. Kids don't have that excitement anymore which i feel a bit sorry for them for.

That's the last televised performance byJoy Division and apparently the only one to be nationally broadcast at the time.
I remember seeing that clip of Transmission for the first time getting home drunk at about 3 in the morning on M2 (think thats what it was called) in the early 2000's . Freaked the hell out of me, I was certain Curtis was having a fit onstage (which he quite possibly almost was). Again now I could see that within seconds of searching, in those days that was the first time I had ever seen a Joy Division performance

First international concert was Ray Charles (!) in about 1993 with my parents at the Mission in Napier. At the time I wasn't interested really at all.
First concert by myself was Pearl Jam in 98 at Mt Smart when I was 15, whole group of us went up from Napier. Funnily enough I am taking my niece to the BDO in February where Pearl Jam will be playing, she is 15 too.

But what the 3rd degree report showed was the Police led him to the house where she was killed, after he clearly had no idea how to get there.
In any case I am glad its going to the Privy Council, but I can't beleive such a clear miscarriage of justice should have to go that far

And yet Taina Pora a person who is clearly innocent and was basically framed by police (and his family) still sits in jail
