Entourage: pretty damn good

Caught Entourage for the first time the other day, and was bloody impressed. Best new thing I've seen on tele for what feels like ages. Friday night, 10pm, after EML. Worth a check out.

The most impressive thing for me is that the programmes (across all of series 1 and 2) stand up to repeated viewing. Sex and the City never did that for me, as the acting and theme seemed a little laboured / mannered second time around.
I think I've watched that first Entourage ep on DVD with various friends 5 or 6 times and yet I still tuned in when it went to air.
Don't miss a single one. Even when they're not totally on-form-superb, they're still excellent, which is saying something. And the cameos and locations are mind-blowing - particularly in series 2.

I freakin love Entourage. they are such funny guys... does stand up to repeat viewings too. Shame about the time slot, and putting it after the movie and EML means it always changes screening time... sigh... now, bring on Ugly Betty

TV2 - WTF??? They finally start showing my fave program Entourage, then, 4 weeks into the first season (hey, it screened in the US in 2004, and it's been out locally on DVD for several months), they dump it from their Friday night line-up, and replace it with Tommy Lee Goes To College. WTF????
bah.......... -
peter - not quite - they actually replace it with an extra half-hour of Eating Media Lunch.
TV2's Friday line-up is movie, followed by EML (half hour), Entourage (half hour), Tommy Lee Goes to College (half hour).
This week it was movie, EML (hour), Tommy Lee Goes to College (in its normal spot).
Entourage is back next week, moving a half-hour earlier into EML's spot directly after the movie (9:45 next Friday, following Scooby Doo, and 9:55 the following week following Scobby Doo 2).
