Seems when the blowtorch is on SkyCity's CEO, he tries to shift the goal posts.
SkyCity CEO: Taxpayers always on the hook for higher costs
And how much advertising revenue is the Granny prepared to forego, if it grows a pair and properly investigates the whole wheeler-deal?

The needle and the damage done...
Despite what they say, the Convention Centre in Auckland must have already cost taxpayers money - ousting TVNZ from their building (without engagement or consultation as far as I can make out) cannot have been a cost neutral exercise - or is TVNZ completely self funding these days - nonetheless they are victims of Key & Joyce's largesse - and that Sky City CEO is a complete pillock - I vote the NZ govt walks away from the deal - it will only end in tears. (if not shreds). -

As is the usual practice for these slithy toves that brown bag of cash will be on TVNZ's books as a loss, or profit depending on the use they want to put that transaction down to.
Profit= look what a great deal this is, wanna buy a tv company?
Loss= Look what a waste of money this tv company is, we must flick it off cheap.
Either way it was our bit of land those shysters have given to their mates.
