I will be needing a good blowing out of cobwebs.
Oh, honey, I can guarantee that. And hugs, as Giovanni says.
Is it bad that I've just (with my very limited knowledge of Auckland) checked on Google Maps that my hotel is within stumbling distance of the venue? (it is.)
-
Thanks Gio. I appreciate it. We're off to the doctor this afternoon, so we shall see. And anyway, by my reckoning that hug isn't too far away now. Only a week and a bit.
-
Eight days after the blend, yes. You will have to come armed with gossip.
-
What? I thought it was the 3rd? (fumbles with her diary). And save the hugs, Miss Megan. Cos you is getting one of the big bear all embracing heal the universe ones from me when I finally clap eyes on you.
-
Oh no, as you were, Gio.
-
We are dealing, in our house at the mo, with a possible diagnosis of something nasty, I fear.
Much luck & hugs, Jackie - and here's hoping this turns out to not nasty at all.
-
thanks dyan, I'm sure it's nothing we won't be able to deal with. Will we see you in a couple of weeks?
-
If you don't wear anything else I'll you in for free
It all depends where Ben ties his black tie.

Note to self: do not look down, do not look down.

Jackie, best wishes for Ian, and you of course.

I can confirm that we'll have at least one Skyview there! Yay!

All good Sof. Like I said, blood tests first, and then the neurologist. Don't know when that will be. We'll be okay. Love you for caring xx

I prefer a narrow tie, by 'n' large. Wait, what did I just walk into?
What will I get if I wear a waist-coat and a pencil tie? Apart from thrown out.
PS. All the best Jackie.
-
Sofie, and others - please take photos, and post on the Facebook page.
-
I look forward to meeting you again Jackie and all the best of luck with the diagnosis.
-
Oh, thanks Andre. I doubt we will know anything soon. It will be fine, whatever it is. Cos that's how we roll.
-
Jackie: I am not sure whether it is the right time or place but we do now have a surfeit of bikes. I did a well-paid writing job for Te Papa Press recently and have rewarded myself with a new Avanti road bike, with shocks and disc brakes. So, we have 4 other bikes sitting around pretty much unused in the basement, if you are still interested.
Hope other things go well.
-
Oh yes interested, Geoff - that would be massive. We still haven't done the necessary research into getting one. I do appreciate the offer. Email me!

Facebook page? What is this thing that you speak of? I am not understanding you ;)
If Ben says it's ok then I will oblige but 'tis only a small camera. I'll throw up photos on this PAS page as I don't do friendbook. -
You can bring a huge camera if you like. I'm not promising any kind of show, other than "show up".
-
Should I worry that my confirmation doesn't seem to have shown up, or is it being done by (gasp!) a human being who will get around to it?
-
I'm not sure whether this Facebook page is accessible unless you have a FB account. So far 53 attending and 65 may be.
-
Nope . I'll take some photos .I'll put them up here but I'm not wandering all over the internet because of face book which I will not be a part of. Not interested sorry.I'll show you the photos here as long as photoees agree. :)
Should I worry that my confirmation doesn't seem to have shown up,
Didn't you get confirmed as a young boy? I thought Catholics like that. ;)

Must apologise -- it was delivered, and instantly got caught in the spam filter that only filters out every other piece of spam and everything I want to read. Grrr...
