– using conventional radio broadcast equipment to deliver data -- isn't without precedent on a technical level, but I don't believe anyone has crafted such a compelling application from the concept.
Wow! just wow that is just outstanding.
I'm back to being a sports apathetic. -
Oh Sorry my clip, this one's for the ALP. Sex and politics are sooo interchangeable its scary.

The New Zealand Maori team's dramatic (and really nicely shot) performance of the haka Timatanga before their match on Wednesday
You know, the way that haka was performed reminds me a lot of Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation music video.

Also, gather the world cups over and NZ won. Ain't that great? Why can't the rugby be as easy?
-
Got guest's for the rugby world cup and looking for unique experience, visit http://www.purefutures.co.nz/brian-poffley.aspx to create the venue.

That Beep Radio internet is just fantastic.
Here's one for our Australian cuzzies.

Ah Brian, how are ya? I'll let you off the link-whoring because it's a cool idea ;-)

Unit Type 883 - Security droid.
This droid was designed from archive data. For some unknown reason it instils great fear in human adversaries. -
Now that I understand Twilight, could someone explain to me how this works:
1) The more Inception trailers, stills, enigmatic interviews with Christopher Nolan etc. come out the more thoroughly bewildered I become.
2) The more confused I am, the more I want to see the damn thing, even though I still want to hit Leonardo with a seal club.
3) My nose in bleeding. WTF?

Good weekend to be going mountain biking. Spoke magazine provides some inspiration in the form of a video of one the Rotorua trails
-
Scary (but cool) nature clip (warning: may give you the heebie-jeebies!)
-
Oo, movie trailers!
RED. I was seconds away from organising a group booking for this yesterday, and it opens in October. How, HOW has it taken so long to give Helen Mirren a BFG?

What!? And get my cycle shorts all muddy? ;-)

So many Dr Who references, I hardly know where to start. How about at the end;

My nose in bleeding. WTF?
I'm quite convinced this is going to be to Memento what Purple Rivers was to La Haine.
-
Not to diss those kids, but the data over radio thing was done on the BBC in about 1980. Computers in those days stored files on cassette tape so it was easy to repurpose the stream.

Here's two trailers from guests on tomorrow's programme, talking to Kim.

Can't remember the embedding instructions, sorry.

How, HOW has it taken so long to give Helen Mirren a BFG?
After seeing how comfortable she looks holding it, I can see why.

Or, alternatively, this; (it's not what you think...)
There is no spoon.

Here's the new Ed Muzik music video. sounds good with or without the Vuvezela button.

Trailer blazing...
Inception - looks like it needs a credit to P K Dick
and RED is looking like The Losers 30 years on* - fun - though Bruce Willis' hearing must be shot by now - so many movies, so many explosions!*(BTW - no one seemed to mention in local publicity that some of The Loser comic series was drawn by kiwi-born master artist Colin Wilson! (see Colin's April 14th blog)
- and Roger Langridge is to be writing Thor!
- Go guys!) -

No, dude, you totally just dissed all those developing country kids with your Kanye-like interruption.
Not cool. Those kids are just trying to get an education, like Taylor Swift.
