On an Austin A7 of course! :-)
I love the circle seat around the tree. Brilliant! A table right around the trunk and it makes a wonderful conversation and CD (demolished) imbibing pit.

Nikita Vasilenko, a vital part of the winning RED DEVILS team of Canterbury in the 2013 season. The Canterbury Red Devils beat the Dunedin Thunder in this year’s NZIHL Grand Final with a 7-3 win. The Red Devils not only have defended their win last year but have won their 3 championship in team history.

Hi Gudrun - nice photos of the guys. The final was unfortunately a bit one-sided - it wasn't until 10 minutes to go until Dunedin scored a goal, game was gone by then.
I was supposed to be sideline supervising the officials in the game, but 15 minutes before it started one of the linesman had a serious equipment failure and couldn't take the ice. Luckily I had my gear in the car so I got to skate my first final as a linesman.

Brilliant Kyle. Glad you got to see the action. That Birgel is surely a big cup.Might spot you next season.

Plinth charming...
Here’s Godley, about a year before his overthrow.
Though, I miss The Square's old underground mens' toilet, wa-a-ay back when Godleyness was next to Cleanliness...

The closest proxy to a smile I've ever seen by Bishop Matthews, of course the unmistakeable finger says a lot more.

Hebe,
Sorry about the mess: this clever piece in Stuff made me laugh, over and over. No small thing in a couple of days when I have suddenly – and surprisingly to me – raged about it all: I have expressed my over-it-ness in a full and frank manner. (Sorry)
