Poor Vince though. Chased after one period on Saturday (that five minutes must have been something!) and then Sunday not dressed and looking after Terry and his concussion.

I know. Wanted to go a few meters to one side and was told in no uncertain terms by a military woman that no you cannot. Why are they still here? All they do, is annoy the hell out of me. A bit like those peeps back in the Berlin Wall l days. Went to Brighton all in a huff instead.

Looks okay apart from the fatal flaw of having a huge convention centre in the heart of our city and having no opportunity for citizens to have input into its placement or even desirability: Design the paddock and the sheep will fight over the best blades of grass.

Wow - Just as the CCC lost its accreditation I finally bothered to read the first report. The concerns were raised in 2009, two years after Tony Marraytt became CEO & Bob became Mayor.
This level of incompetence should be criminal.

It is criminal when you think any resources needed will be squeezed from the unfortunate ratepayer of Christchurch. John Key is making certain of that, no matter what he tries to spin. We will be stuck with white elephants like the stadium and whatever they decide to put in front of us. Schools are being closed or merged without the Christchurch ratepayer having any say in it whatsoever. Imagine that. Talk about dictatorship.
