That's an awesome photo, well done Sally!
I’ve ridden a tandem a few times with a friend who’s blind. It’s rather terrifying to be in charge of! My friend pedals hard and puts all his faith in my steering. Arrrgh. :-)

Humans are awesome in our weird creative powers - weird, I tell you! Weird-
I have no desire to add to this kind of weirdness- -
Agreed Islander. I think even he is sometimes thinking if this is the best way to earn a living

an abandoned tandem…
did you find the pair responsible for this abandonment?

No, they had, like, legged it,

Local talent not included so far in the design of the new Avon river cycle way park. It seems a British landscape architect has been selected to first of all propose a 3 million dollar design fee and then who knows import superior workforce to complete the task? The charade to ask citizens of CC to submit designs are nothing but a luke warm PR exercise unfortunately

Well they have to do the 1812 every year!

She could probably do it in her sleep. Maybe she is. ;-)
Gudrun, thanks again for continuing to add to this. In May, we will have a whole year of life in Christchurch. Maybe someone could bookify it?

Sums up my thoughts about that genre quite well :)

I recall her being quite animated during interval. Perhaps the conductor expects his players to be 'dignified'.

Oh, nothing specifically. I was just thinking it would be good to collect the photos, and stories, into a form that could be re-shared. But this is perfectly sufficient I suspect. 43 pages is a lot of content, and I've looked back at it a few times and enjoyed it. That's all I meant really.
If things go according to plan, I might even be down there soon to contribute my own to the mix.

Hah!! You better be. ;-)
ETA: what I mean is, a warm welcome awaits you. :-)

It would be nice to meet you in person. Maybe we could meet collectively Hebe and Lilith and anyone else who wants to join..

Gudrun Gisela, in reply to
That sounds brilliant Jackson.

Meeting, greeting, promenading and <cough> purchasing encouraged at tonight's evening market (5-9pm, Friday Feb 8) at Gap Filler's Pallet Pavillion (cnr Durham & Kilmore, where the ParkRoyal/Crowne Plaza once used to be) - the chief wrangler for the Silverfish Ranch will be there selling cellulose-based products and stuff... -
