Spring shower and lillies
what a lovely window capture!
And how you say ... ar - um ... lilies! :-)We had a good show-er of thunderstorm yesterday afternoon.
White-faced heron backon the riverbank, took it stoically for a time, before taking the flight option after a particularly close intense thunder-clap. -

Beaut evening
Hmmm… we seem to be in a very odd time of year when Beijing and Auckland weather are pretty much the same. But I seemed to capture it better reflected in a shop window downstairs…
...than directly through my brother in law's window. Fuzziness in that image is due to dirty windows, not my cellphone, though I should say it's not often you see those mountains that clearly from that distance.
Guess I should add, for pedantry's sake, that those two photos were taken just over the border in Yanjiao in Hebei Province, but I assure you the weather was identical down here too. When we got to the top of the Yuantong Bridge we could see both the Western Hills and, much further away, the Jundushan to the north.
