These are amazing photos! So much better than the ones I took last year. I'm kicking myself that I couldn't make it today, but I'm cheered by the fab photos that came out of it!

Brilliant, you guys. Congratulations on making your event happen so well.

A great fun day with some really cool people. Good to sniff those chemicals again after so many years. Pinhole photography with a chip can/piece of tape/guesswork is about as far away from autofocus/cameraphone/LCD viewfinder as you can get. I experienced a mixture of frustration, excitement, disappointment and resolve all in one day – take THAT iPhone and Instagram.

Thanks Robyn. Everyone seemed to have interesting ideas, and got some great results. The shoes photos is quite incredible, IMhO.
We really missed you today, but I guess that won't help much. Maybe we can do another one? Seems everyone wants to take more photos.
Congratulations
Cheers Russell. Might try do another one in a few months.

In that overpass one of mine, you can just make out three ghosty images of me. Two easier to spot than the third, but I have the advantage of knowing where I was standing.

Hurrah, everyone! Fantastic results.
Keen to be there next time, Jack!
Question: whose task was it to eat all the Pringles??

JacksonP, in reply to
Me and my kids. Mostly me. ;-)

I am impressed by both the follow through of the idea and the actual photos. Great job.

Ghandi Centre. Ok exposure, but the perspective didn't work as well as Sonya's.
Great job.
Thanks Samuel. Felt like I learnt a lot myself during this process. Easy to take things for granted with all this technology to hand. Makes you stop and think about things when you only get a few chances a day to get a good result.

3410,
Cool stuff, guys. It's like homemade Instagrams.

And it was a great day, intense at times. But everyone seemed to be having a great time and coming back with interesting results. Being in the darkroom most of the day was like watching a very slow stop-start timelapse movie. Well-orchestrated Jackson! Well handled, everyone. : )

Great description. Oh, and welcome to the conversation pit. :)

Thanks Sacha : ) Conversation pit! Well carpeted and full of over-sized cushions I hope. Is the mulled wine nearly ready?

My test run - which I really quite like, still in negative form. Jackson, I think you have a scan there.
I do. Are you happy for me to add it to the main post? Thought I'd better check first, but I really like it too.

Absolutely : )

Righto. I made up a title, but you can suggest a different one if you like. ;-)

Prego would be good.Cheers Jos. We could finally turn that place over the road into the gallery it’s been destined for all it’s life.
Sophie, your being has now become arboreal. ;-)
-
Jos,
I recon it would rip Jack, have to talk to uncle, he needs something to do

Trashcam photography with wheelie bins... another level of pinhole photography. For those with the bug perhaps??

Trashcam photography with wheelie bins... another level of pinhole photography.
We were discussing this possibility on the day. Our sticking point was the developing, stopping and fixing baths required to handle over-sized paper.
But there's 11 months to sort out the finer details before out next Pinhole Workshop.

Eye in the sky...
this ain't strictly pinhole related
but is about vantage points....
When TV7 goes I have found a
strangely addictive alternative
The Abbey Rd Studio crossing webcam...
hilarity to be had in the archives
and you can hear everything as well
