your “ideal house” reminded me of this one, our former City Council building.

My daughter is a keen oneThanks Jos, I'm more of a sporadic knitter - every 10 years or so I get enthused by stumbling into a wool shop. Quite enjoy the knitting, but more than anything just want to get it made and wear the jumper...

The Heads last night
Wild Jos. Wondering how you got the sea to look that way, and everything else so sharp?

+1 on the wild
I'd say tripod and longish exposure to brush the sea like that...... lovely picture : ) -
Jos,
That waxy is a nice shot jac!
Yes indeed, you really need a neutral density filter, about $80 on trademe for a variable one. It allows you to get 30 second exposures that smooth out water and blurr people etc in daylight. Cheap ones have bad colour casts, good ones cost around US$350.
It was so calm last night I had to wait for a boat to come in over the bar to create some movement in the water. :) -
