Happy Birthday Russell.
Thanks for all your goodness over the years and informed comment over many topics that mean a lot to me and others.
I too put off a big birthday celebration last year as you know, cos of the lurgy and still avoid crowds. Love a good dance and a good gig & long may it continue. I feel senior housing of the future will ring out with a range of dance music and it fills me with glee and contentment of growing old well. See you there! -

Yay - back in here. Well today is the last day of driving the big airport bus for at least 4 weeks. Sad in a way but also great to get a break from all those shellshocked, over anxious people who are trying, trying, trying desperately to get home to wherever in the world it is. One young woman was shaking so much I had to take her ticket out of her hand to scan it, another guy in a state left his money pouch with everything - money, passport, tickets, cards etc sitting on the bus seat - lucky it was found & returned shortly after.
These people keep reminding me that 'be kind' is deffo the Public Address word for 2020. I am in first on this one eh Russell. -
just fabulous - makes me want to visit.
Thanks again

great picks Jackson – mine do not do any credit as I was not up at front this year.
However I loved the shade and seating the Morton Bay figs gave as well seeing fabulous clothes and styles along the day.
Your first comments and the day itself reminded me of when ‘we’ liberated Myers Park then Albert Park in the summer of 69. Evocatively captured by Simon Buis in a booklet I recently uncovered in a clean out.
