Hard News: Media3: The Maori Media Man, in reply to
Does that really make much difference?
On one hand, no – it’s a sickening act no matter who was targeted. But in the interests of accuracy I think it does make a difference. It was claimed that the skateboarding club was attacked, but this didn’t happen at all.

Russell, the web page you linked to doesn’t say that the skateboarding club was attacked. It says the bombing took place outside the ISAF headquarters and that members of the skateboarding club were near the HQ at the time. This is backed up by CNN, LA Times, ESPN, etc:

Though one wouldn’t know it from reading the BBC report: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-19580747

Soul Train clip featuring Aretha Franklin's Rock Steady. It has one of the funkiest bass-lines ever, which EPMD sampled to full effect.

Jenkem is a straight rip off of the Brasseye episode about "Cake".
Back in the mid 90s Chris Morris and co. fooled some British MPs and celebs into believeing there was new drug called Cake that was killing younguns. One MP even asked a question in Parliament about whether the government was going to do something about this new drug scourge.
Just enter Brasseye +cake on youtube for much hilarity. Watch the other Brasseye episodes too, you wont be diasppointed.

Craig,
You're totally right. Mebeki and co, should be be held to account like many others.
I just haven't heard all Wright's talks so I'm not sure what his approach to people suffering from AIDS would be.

Gotta agree with Danielle, Shep and Simon about the Rev Wright. While some of his comments appear questionable and delusional (belief in a higher power?) it's nothing comapred to Powell, Cheney, et al, whose rhetoric about Iraq and WMD's and Iraq's ties to AQ have led to the deaths of thousands.
And to make matters worse plenty of Republicans and Democrats consistently make insane comments about the threat of Iran. That is far more worrying than anything Wright has ever said.
I also marvel at the hypocrisy involved when the people who have a problem with Wright talking about "chickens coming home to roost" are often the same ones who were completely in favour of the US bombing of Afghanistan following 9/11.
