Last year, there were 31,791 referrals for drug testable positions nationwide and just 55 sanctions for failing a drug test, according to Ministry of Social Development (MSD) figures. - See more at: http://thedailyblog.co.nz/2016/05/18/why-media-are-so-surprised-by-housing-crisis-poverty/

Was listening to TalkBack the other night, there was a fellow who rang in , builder, repairs all of the state houses in new plymouth, usually between tenants .
He said the following:
*Most damage done by younger recipients
*P damaged houses are very rare ( i think he said 3 last year) and when one is damaged they usually just fix it with a coat of paint and carpets, they don't replace GiB etc.
* many houses are empty and being prepared for sale.I guess Auckland might be a different story but to me it seems that its an easy story to sell a hard line on lower socioeconomics, they're all on p.
Seems like that's simply a fabrication, at least in new Plymouth -

I'm fuming over this, Wheldon has a lot to answer for.
Time to crowd fund a real news agency so we actually know what happening in what used to be our country. -
What in the world.....
Why is Mark Wheldon in the position to remove the last bit of impartial truth from the stream of crap that comes out of our TV. How much would it cost to run Campbell live on the internet, 3 mill per year ?
If this is nationals idea , which I highly suspect it is with the relationship to wheldon then it's creepy as f&&k. -
Speaker: David Fisher: The OIA arms race, in reply to
agreed - this problem is not peculiar to NZ though is it ?
Is it not right throughout the world, a world driven by the wrong values ?
This problem will not be fixed by libertarian heros, or moments of truth.
Those hero's will be written off as conspiracy theorists and losers.
The problem will actually be fixed by those who continue to ignore the issues and drive society unwittingly downwards to the point where it will suddenly awaken and demand better of its elected representatives and the systems that influence them, albeit however at the other end of a very long and damaging decline. The irony is the gutter journalists and apathetic public are probably doing more to expediate this process than we are. I very much hope that I'm completely wrong, but I don't think so.

So what now, it's a mandate to push for for an undisclosed TPPA, Charter Schools, endorsement of current media arrangements and a slow quashing of any revelations into corruption such as the boomer in the Herald , which has since been buried under wonderfull John Keys victory news.

So when do we get the US flag ? -
fantastic interview. well done. Andrea Vanve did something in the herald this morning which has been heavily attacked by a huge swath of aggressive comments. scary.
