Sounds more democratic to me.

This has been my position for many years now. I do not agree with NZ First on many of its positions and the Conservatives gave me the willies but for their supporters to be denied representation based on the threshold is blindingly undemocratic.

Wow. So many people with such vivid memories. I was there 91~94 and don't remember much specific about the building at all. I remember it being pretty big and and I remember those massive sandwiches that they made up for you in the cafe. I have horrible memories of watching people outside pissing on anything remotely green during Steins and the whole cup of sour cream they dumped on your nachos was even then a bit shocking.

I feel the same way. Mike King always came across as a nice guy but his comedy never got to me. What he’s doing now is so important, the documentary was amazing. Props to Mike King and those supporting him.

When I was in London 1997~2000 people who took a lot of pills seemed to take more and more. It was’t uncommon for some folk to take 3 (over more) in a night. Of course no one really knew the potency but they obviously felt that they needed more than the average punter. More quality, certainty and monitoring would be so good. Imagine if people in a club could wear wrist bands to indicate what they had taken, they could even have the time recorded.

1. No there shouldn’t.
2. Yes, if you must have a uniform it should be gender neutral. Here in Japan the kids tend to like their uniforms. I was quite surprised when I first heard the girls saying their uniform (that I thought was hideous) was cute. In fact at the few schools that do not have uniforms often girls will invent their own uniform-like outfits. I was at a seminar where on the second day I was confused because one girl in my group had on a different uniform. When questioned she told me that her school had no uniform so she chose her own and what’s more, she had more than one.

Legal Beagle: Compensation for Teina Pora?, in reply to
So what you're saying is that all is well with this case but the next one that comes along that the Government has a bee in its bonnet about could be denied compensation. Yuck.

We called it 'tapping' in Wellington too. I don't think I ever did it but everyone knew about it and we saw older kids doing it.

Should we not in this case expect our elected representatives to correct the law so that those other courts are not excluded? I mean (forgive me if I’ve got this wrong) but I was under the impression that they jumped lickity-split to get the GCSB laws changed.
