I'm still confused to exactly what an "Internets" Party stands for outside of ICT policy.
What's their standing on Fish Quota's? On the National Flag? Treaty Settlements?
This is all going to start unravelling quite quickly I think. -

Greed is easily thrown around but its just not the case. Suffice to stay we'll be meeting in the coming weeks (sleep first) and working through everything that worked and everything that didn't.
As one of the many HODs putting on the festival I personally would like to thank the 99% of you who come along dressed up and in such a great mood. Thousands of smiles are my only profit margin. Totally worth it.

Queens Wharf (originally labeled 'Party Central' and now seemingly only labeled as 'The Cloud') will never show the Warriors game (sorry).
As much as it seems a nice idea its just not going to happen. It's mainly to do with contracts with major sponsors - if you were brand XXX and you had paid a small fortune to be the only brand in your market to be part of the RWC, you would be off the idea of competitor getting it for free via a coincidental win of a completely different sport.
Who knows - maybe Super McCully will step in and offer Cooks Wharf as an option but I very much doubt it - one grand final doesn't equal the shear scale of the RWC.
Lets move on and demand something in Aotea Square!

It will be interesting the next 24-28hrs.
NY Times Nicholas Kristof just got there - writes of entering the country and the first experiences.

I think the BDO deserves credit for keeping the event all ages while still having more than enough bars for the majority. The next large scale event similar to the BDO I imagine is Rhythm & Vines and there the crowd can drink everywhere (and by wine by the bottle). It gets messy very quickly.
