I'm a bit of a n00b when it comes to understanding the nuances of party policy, but can somebody explain how an MP from the anti-regulation, pro-business Act party be MP for Consumer Affairs? Perhaps there's a subtle pro-business slant to the CGA which I'm missing.

The Libz and the Workers Party have more in common than they'd like to admit. A party vote of less than 0.6%, for example.

If you would like a copy of the history I still have a few copies.
Yes please! Feel free to flick me an email.

Rather off-topic, but can anyone explain why the people of Epsom look set to re-elect Rodney Hide?
It's the 2nd-richest electorate in the country. The percentage of the electorate which earns > 100K is higher than any other. It makes sense they'd elect Mr. Flat Tax.

That said, other segments involved the same overall joke, but did something different with it each week,
I reckon Andy and Lou blew it in the 1st? 2nd? episode with the "Lou takes Andy to the pool" sketch. None of their appearances since that sketch hold a candle to it.

the Brits are still laughing at men dressed as women or mincing about like poofs.
Walliams and Lucas suggest renamning the show "Gays and Ladies" on one of the DVD commentaries (S1 I think).

I'm holding out for "quincunx".
A word you need to take care to pronounce very carefully; unless you're Matthew Hooton, in which case you'd relish the opportunity to mispronounce it in public repeatedly.

Of course I mean fewer interruptions, not less. This is what seeing National billboards does to your brain.

And FWIW, the Daily Show website always streams content for me much faster and with less (no?) interruptions than youtube ever does.

I've whipped together a Greasemonkey script for Firefox which displays direct links to the FLV files -- you can download the shows (strictly for personal use only, of course) and watch them later. It's very much v0.1-ish at the moment.
